Thanks for this post. In all the things going on lately, I was saddened that his passing seems to have been overlooked. I was reading an overlook of his career today and they mentioned how in the 60s he brought pantsuits for women to high fashion. I know it sounds rediculous now but there actually was a time that women (in our lifetime) were not permitted to enter restaurants and other public places in pants! So kudos to him for changing the parameters of acceptability. He was a revolutionary.
