Other folks said, "Piss on you jack, he's just another crazy italian, born next to the frozen beef pies at Boney's Market"

Fantastic.
Incredible technique and maturity for someone so young. Those double-stops and vibrato; perfect.
Got a clip of her now? She must be absolutley overwhelming.

Oh, I love that piece! I had a record of it when I was a little kid (a 45), and played it a lot -- tried to dance to it. (I was into ballet.) I hadn't heard it in many years (my niece broke all my 45s when she was about 6. I was heart-broken. My mother thought it was funny.)
Where is Viviane Hagner now? Still playing?

I hadn't heard of Viviane Hagner, but she's still performing (Wikipedia article, official website). Her father is/was German and her mother Korean.

That should say "I hadn't heard of Viviane Hagner before reading this post". Serves me right for checking the links but not reading through the comment properly.

We found another rendition of that piece online and I played it several times last night --- I definitely liked Viviane Hagner's version better, but it didn't play smoothly. She's great.
