i've been calling. the washington post has an editorial out this morning talking about how paulson and bernankhe, like every other suited motherfucker on wallstreet, are panicking.
the street's in a panic, and these guys, being streeters, are panicking with the herd.
plus mcCain has lost george fucking will. cool sez i.
Frog marching..... Paulson, Bernake, and on down the line.... not a dime until we get some trustworty asses to replace these ones.
Congress should have put a big re "F" on that piece of shit paulson handed in and sent him back to bush with it pinned to his jacket.
They could bail out every state from what's already threatening to take so many of them down caused by this mess. 700B would also cover some REAL infrastructure, education, sba grants for support for green jobs to stimulate the economy directly.
Congress should be saying NO, just flat no and doing an end run around the trickledowners instead of even discussing SUCH an insane request. No. Let's find another way! Think outside the bubble dammit.
And I can't call MY reps because they're the ones that created this mess!!! My own personal taxation without representation. More tea?.... and frog marching.... where's the frog marching dammit!!!!

If this passes, a Boston Tea Party won't be enough, by a long shot. People will have to read again about 1793 and 1917 to have a vague idea of the scope of required change (and culling).

Yep, he might lose but Obama is not concentrating on az, he's recruiting az resources to do nm which has a better chance of going blue. Regardless, even if mccain loses, he's still a senator somewhere. I've written/called on several issues and, as you can see, MY letters/calls were not heeded. 
This passes and I'm taking down the Stars and Stripes and raising the Red Flag in front of my house. Let the neighbors freak - I won't fucking care.

I've been flying either a Sons of Liberty flag (13 red and white stripes) or a Gadsen ("Don't Tread on Me") for quite a while now. That old DTOM works great when any persistent proselytizers try to tell me how to live my life or run my household!
Sadly, its become hard for even a serving patriot like me to fly my own flag given how ashamed and infuriated I've become with current policy and weakness of both Executive and Legislative Branches. (Don't even get me going on the outright unAmerican activity of the SOCTUS since December 2000.)
So, its back to the old. I figure if they worked well in that successful revolution, its time to use them to symbolize where I stand in the next one.

Done and done did it...I reduced (sigh) Ian's article to bullet points in the event that my pointy-haired Republican senator could read it, and sent one to my representative, too. Thank God for Ian's work.
Of course, it will help if the recipients can read.
