I note that, in the recent "gathering of eagles", the eagles chose to gather in Washington, D.C., instead of gathering in Ramadi, or Mosul, or Basra, where the "gathering" might attract the attention of some people whose attitude toward the flock could well have been detrimental to their health.

I said it before and I'll say it again, odds are the "military" backgrounds of these "Eagles" fall into the following categories:
If they "served":
1. Dishonorable discharge
2. Fragging
3. Killing/raping civilians in the line of duty
4. never rose above a certain rank and were given the choice to leave or suffer the consequences (see choice 1)
If they didn't serve:
1. chickenhawk
2. too stupid to be able to read or reason
3. killing/raping fellow citizens
4. marching in Klan Rallies
5. Deeply identify with one of the hate wings of the Christianist party
Either way, these pussbags are working out some sort of horrific guilt here in front of our eyes. It is clear that they think others should pay for their own shortcomings.
Gathering of Eagles? Not likely. Our national symbol is soiled by their stench and rot. More like Gathering of Gasbags.
