Even if Hillary wins, it'll hardly be the blowout victory she was expecting. It should be amusing to watch her attempt to rationalize that little inconvenience away.

The Party, will have, to, send her, a message.
At this point, only a horses head apparently will get her attention.
Sigh. I'm appalled at what Gore and Edwards copped to the past two days. No endorsement from either of them.
Gutless putz's, either afraid of of the Clinton Machine, or lookin for scraps at the table after the election and playing it safe. Sad.
That ain't progressive politics, and I truly believe, Gore and Edwards have come to the END of their political lives for failure to lead when progressives demanded it.
So, someone has to tell her, it's over. No matter WHAT she thinks.
Who will that be? The Del's? The DNC? Howard Dean?
Or We The People? How can We The People tell her, it's over?
Holiday Gas Tax my ass, insurer based 'IMPROVED' coverage, instead of CARE FOR ALL!
Aside from my allegorical horsehead, that is.
Harumph.

I love how she talks about being outspent as if it's a function of Obama being the one with the massive corporations and high dollar donors, or that it's in some way unfair.
I'd love to hear him say "hell yes, we outspent her. By a TON. It's easy to do when you have millions of people invested enough in a campaign that they are willing to pony up. That she can't do the same is an indication of how uninspiring she is."

i've played music all over the country, and the world i have never experienced the level of segregation and racism that i found in indiana. it's small wonder that the KKK and other hate groups headquarter there. outside of a couple bright spots the state is a wasteland of sundown towns and small minded racist cousin marrying backward dropout mullet wearing nascar watching trash.

-Or fishes wrapped in a blouse.
"Sigh. I'm appalled at what Gore and Edwards copped to the past two days. No endorsement from either of them."
-Gore not endorsing doesn't bother me.
He's busy doing other things.
I wasn't impressed with Edwards when he ran; to me, he seems small now that he can't seem to endorse anyone.
Make a decision, damnit!

They have two freaking counties still reporting ZERO!!! What... are they fooling with those machines or something. Sheeesh.
And yes, gator, that "On to the white house" prompted me to dive for the remote to off it. Okay, then I turned it back on and actually, she was trying to be very charming. Charming the dollars right out of anyone who will send a couple. she reminds me of Sybil when she does that shit.
Telling for me was how bill and chelsea were both up there and how she thanked them and basically acted like she knew it was o.v.e.r. BUT she has to press on.
And I really want the pundits to shut IT about this joined ticket. What a freaking disaster that would be. Its already going to be hard enough with them even in the picture commenting and so forth about President Obama. Its like she's going to be there for the next 4 years thwarting his every effort. She doesn't get IT. She doesn't GET how this has to change.... that her and her ilk just need to shut it..... that we really do want to do things differently than they do. That we have to.
Coming to you this evening after a couple of slurps of enhanced cough syrup and a new box of kleeenex in hand..... YAY NC :D

The later into the evening we get with no results from Lake County, the more I joke with my brother that they're waiting to see how many votes he needs. Now, don't everybody attack me at once; it's a joke and I voted for Obama in Indianapolis today. I think it's over and I think that's beginning to dawn on her. She called North Carolina a "game changer"; instead it was a game ender.

YAY NC - indeed. I helped! I drove to Winston-Salem to canvas on Saturday. I called my very cool, middle-school teaching canvas-ing partner to congratulate her on her masterful skills. She told me that she had her son go out and canvas for Obama in her stead this morning cuz she had to work.
YAY indeed. Fingers crossed that Obama takes Indiana.
Maybe then bruh can get a nap.

Littlest gator; she did not!!!???
Goddammit, that tears it.
All night LONG, the only person to bring up IRAQ was...taaadaaa...BARACK OBAMA.
Some thoughts:
Lou Dobbs is a racist asshole (which we already knew...) for trying to keep hammering on the fact that blacks in N.C. went about 90% for Obama.
(Shreik! Bloc voting! And THEN we got to hear the bobbleheads smugly pointing out that Obama can't win the all-important Jesse Helms/Nathan Bedford Forrest vote.
The irony...)
To the credit of a couple of members of "the panel" on CNN, they jointly shat upon Dobb's nouveau "Jeremiah Wright" tactic by pointing out that in N.C. only 1/3rd of the population is black, and that Obama was getting 40% of the white vote there, on his way to kicking Hillary's ass. Ergo: fuck you, Lou!
They keep talking about the "problems" Obama will have in the general, as if Bush's APPROVAL ratings were at 75%, instead of his DISAPPROVAL ratings being nearly that.
And for some strange reason, in their pontificating about how tough Obama will have it in the general, they seem to think that he's not going to roll out a Miller 225Amp Mig unit, and WELD George Bush to John McCain's ass like he was putting a fucking trailer hitch on a pickup. :o)
It won't be hard to do. :o)
Couple of tacks, and then a few good passes to lay in some solid beads, and presto! The voters get to talk about one BLOODY and UNENDING clusterfuck, and the effects of it on us, AND who is STILL Supporting it, and we get to watch McCain twist slowly in the reality-wind. :o)
...Donna Brazile is one smart, take-no-shit lady. Paul Begala's balls were sticking out his nostrils, she kicked them so hard, when he went after her for speaking the District-of-Columbia-shaking-truth that the demographics of this election are steadily making the bubba vote less and less important.
Talk like that makes the spineless donkeys that have been eating george bush's shit for 7 years, lay a few of their own pantsloads.
I was glad to see:
The passion and the flashes of anger on the part of the CNN panelistas...
That Bill Bennett's "admiration" for Hillary has given way to his sad and rueful visage, as he watches her sink into the republican-lite quagmire that she's created, by, for, and of, herself...
That Jamal what's-his-name, the handsome and witty young black guy who's an Obama supporter, got off a good juicy line, when, replying to some speculation about "...if Hillary can get them to re-instate her "wins" in Florida and Michigan", she's still in it, etc..." by saying:
"Yeah, and if my aunt had a male appendage, she'd be my uncle."
EVERYbody cracked up. :o)
the bottom line; the unspinnable line;
the line that Al Gore and John Edwards (if HE has any influence left, at this point...) should be chewing over like it was their bovine cud, is this:
Tonight Obama increased his lead, and gave a damn good speech, which, was not TOO far removed from an acceptance speech...and why not?
The ONLY roll Clinton can even try to play now, is that of The Goddess of Mayhem, which is precisely why Limbaugh and the rest of those media anuses are telling their faithful mouth-breathers to go and vote for her.
At this point, I don't give a shit HOW many international awards Gore has gotten, nor how "green" he is; and I'm not interested in John Edwards' down-the-road political aspirations, whatever they are:
Those two "worthies" desperately need to shit or get off the damn pot, or they can go to hell, as far as I'm concerned.
And every progressive worth the name, should be at pains to tell them so.

I liked your comments, and reading them made me think of something:
Obama does not owe the Grand Pooh-Bahs of the Democratic Party anything (save Ted Kennedy).
So, if they come to Obama and say "You have to have Hillary as your running mate", Obama should say "NO, I have the right to pick my running mate."
He should stick to his guns, too.
