Gravatar TOO fucking good.

This dingbat, with blood and koolaid up to her elbows, making another little show-the-flag visit to bushCo's mayhem-in-Mesopotamis, and trying desperately to sacrifice the lives of as many of our troops, and the lives of as many Iraqis, as it takes to get she and the rest of Team Clusterfuck safely out of D.C., and back to their corporate sinecures, is calling out the guy whose father and brother were killed by Saddam; who was on our military's hit list; and probably will be again, if he isn't now; and who, as Hub notes, has more street cred than any other person in Iraq.

Fucking pathetic.

Gravatar wait... what happened to all the ethnic excitement about her potential as vp?

Gravatar Kinda like sending off 140,000 men and women off into the sandbox for no good reason?

It's like the stooges in the Bush administration want to one up one another in total callous arrogance. The last one was Bush calling Iraq a romantic adventure or Dick Cheney answering "So?" to a question about the unpopularity of the war with the American public.

We did not hold them accountable and no one ever will.

Gravatar please please please put her on the ticket at McCain's VP.

Gravatar Tough talk from Condi, Bet she really hurt his feelings calling him a coward.

Meanwhile in the real world:

WASHINGTON — The war in Iraq has become "a major debacle" and the outcome "is in doubt" despite improvements in security from the buildup in U.S. forces, according to a highly critical study published Thursday by the Pentagon's premier military educational institute.

The report released by the National Defense University raises fresh doubts about President Bush's projections of a U.S. victory in Iraq just a week after Bush announced that he was suspending U.S. troop reductions.

Gravatar "leave the counter insurgency to the experts."

Pardon me for this question, but who the f**k is the expert in America on counterinsurgency?

Give me names, units, methodology, tactics and success stories.

And no, f**king paying Sunni guys to NOT shoot Americans does not count as a success.

Gravatar >Paying...
Actually that does work. That has worked for almost 200 years.

Gravatar Brave, brave, Sir Condi! When al-Sadr raised his head, Condi bravely turned and fled --

Brave, brave, Sir Condi!

Gravatar Thankfully, Jimmy Carter is still alive. At least there's one American left that people still respect.

Gravatar That is one butt-ugly woman and she's a fucking idiot to boot. Can't this nightmare end soon enough?

Gravatar I agree with Mr. Vladimir Zhirinovsky - Condi needs to visit a Russian Army barracks and have an entire company of infantry service her. Might get rid of that sneer and her perpetual stinkeye.

Gravatar I almost fell over laughing when she implied that Sadr is a coward.
After all didn't her "husband" run away and hide on 9/11?

Gravatar A point:

The best way to begin to end bullshit like this being spouted by a member of bush's cabinet, is to do everything we can to get Obama nominated.

When he finally starts going after McCain and the goopers for the past five---make that 7 and 1/2 years of an administration that could fuck up a can of peaches, the numbers of americans cheering him on, and waiting to vote for him in the general, will have the GOP shitting their pants.

The Goldwater Eviction Swat Team is NOT off the table. :o)

Gravatar As Tankbark pointed out, Saddam killed Sadr's father (a Grand Ayatollah) and two older brothers in 1999 - in Najaf, btw, as they chose to stay in Iraq rather than flee to Iran. in addition, Muqtada's father in law (another Grand Ayatollah) was hung by Saddam in 1980. info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muq...Muqtada_al- Sadr

Yet, our cowardly draft-dodging White House continues to mock our enemies as being "cowardly." Do they ever stop and think what their arrogant statements mean to the insurgents, or how they motivate them to kill Americans? No, Condi & BushCo just care about spin back in the USA. Fucking idiots.

Gravatar Vic, thanks for the link, and for additional info.

One thing about all of the bushCo agit-prop; it's so outrageous and pervasive, and so persistent, without anyone in the MSM calling them on it, that it keeps us infuriated.

With any luck, tomorrow, Obama will keep Hillary's margin no more that 10%, and if he does, along with his picking up more and more of the superdelegates, it will mean that she will have very little chance of going into Denver with enough delegates to catch him.

And if we can get her out, it will be the end of any chance that the republicans have to win this election, or even keep it close, and watching the republican rats bolt for the gangplank will be a visceral pleasure. :o)

Gravatar That day I saw an entire family of brothers sent away-seven in all, I think. One of them was almost certainly retarded, identified by his all brothers as handicapped but his interrogator felt otherwise. Off to Abu G he went.

A civilized country and a civilized people cannot presume guilt. Guilt without evidence is anathema to a functioning civil society.....a system that incarcerates scores of innocents is a broken one destined to be fought by those it victimizes.

:- Still Broken -a recruits account of intelligence failures in Baghdad and the Pentagon. A.J. Rossmiller 2008

I'm reading this book right now in sheer disbelief. The lack of anything resembling strategies, plans, cultural understanding, progress -its heartbreaking. One Iraqi states "When you came to our country, we hoped law would return. We still have that hope." That was a couple of years ago. I can guess that the hope has been replaced by hatred and will be for generations.

Sadly those who should read this, never will.

Gravatar Oh, that craven dog al-Sadr, daring to send people into battle without endangering himself. If only he'd slipped in under the cover of darkness and paraded around with a fake turkey in front of his men. That kind of Alexander the Great brand of leadership from the front lines is what everyone really admires these days.

Gravatar So if, per Condi, al Sadr is a coward because he slips into Iran sometimes for religious classes (and forgetting his standing up to Saddam and that he seems to spend most of his time in Iraq), what does that make her hubby, the one who skipped out of Vietnam and directs his vanity invasion (which by happy coincidence has enriched Shooter Dick and his cronies) from 8000 miles away?

While the entire Bush gang is a national embarrasment (and a highly criminal one at that), Condi seems to be the most pathetic one of all.

Gravatar Captain C:

"Vanity invasion"...I'm gonna steal that. Catch me if you can. :o)

Gravatar Condi taunting Mookie Al-Sadr is this King George's version of Lord North taunting George Washington and accusing the good general of hiding out in the French Caribbean or France itself.

Funny that. North was purged from the British government in the wake of Cornwallis' defeat at Yorktown.

Perhaps Petraus is our own Cornwallis? For sheer longevity in the region, he could compete for William Howe. In my book, Odierno is another potential Cornwallis...

If our "Yorktown on the Tigris" doesn't bring down the Empire, it should hopefully bring on a complete reorganization of the government and clipping of the Imperial President's wings.

Gravatar the war criminal Condi should go shoe shopping in downtown Baghdad

"a major debacle"? it's not just Iraq anymore

Gravatar Someone her age saying something that patently infantile is bad enough ... but in that job, it's a crime.

Always seems to be a serious jump in the body-count immediately after every visit from one of these bigwigs, too - think they might give enough of a shit to notice that & just do their geek-act from The Rose Garden? No such luck. Gotta have that authentic Mideast backdrop for the rah-rah idiocy to win those hearts & minds stateside, don't ya know.

If only she'd've just stuck to playing the piano. Pianos make lousy weapons.

Gravatar Tanbark:

Spread it far and wide. If chasing you will help, though, you'll have to wait a few days, as I just had minor surgery on my leg and can't run right now. :^)

Gravatar Thanks, Cap; get well soon. Talk to you again. :o)
