I wish this is what would've happened to William Jefferson. There's a story that can come back at the most inopportune time(especially if the corporate media starts trying to paint Obama as a "corrupt black man").
This is great news and like preznit giv me turkee said, I'm glad that a candidate I gave money to finally won.
While everyone is bashing away at each other in the Obama post below, I just wanted to say that this year, I think I'll make most of my contributions to down ticket races and progressive organizations. I like both Obama and Hillary but fortunately, neither of them seem to need money - at least at this point. And I want a bullet-proof Democratic majority in Congress that will hopefully stop selling us down the river and hopefully be less corrupt than the Republicans were when they had one party rule.

Actually, I'm a bit disturberd about this myself. OK, one vote wouldn't have made a difference, and I guess all Senators knew perfectly well before the voting even started, that the bill was very unlikely to succeed. But still, this is sending the wrong kind of signal at a very critical point of her campaign.
