Congratulations for all you've done for your country. Congratulations for getting so many of your ideas which seemed politically untenable at the time into the public discourse. Congratulation for always doing your jobs with creativity, class, dedication and guts.

I expect you're going to have to take a lot of crap over the next few weeks, but after 2006 in CT, were you expecting anything different? Stay strong and positive. There's nothing you can't do. If you don't like what you see by 2011, don't be scared. Go for it. Or just you and your brother keep backing those progressive candidates in Democratic primaries all over the country and if the leadership cries about it, give 'em some tissues. But don't give in.
I'm not American, but one summer when I was little I played on the Sandy Hollow teams and we used to take care of Maidstone pretty good!
