WA State's current Governor, Democrat Christine Gregoire, is where she is because she and her team of lawyers hung on with all their strength and Would.Not.Concede. to the R candidate (even though he and his wife had already toured the Gov's Mansion and were talking to decorators) until Every.Damn.Vote.Was.Counted. including absentees and overseas and military.
She won. By a handful of votes, but she won.
