Why isn't the media questioning whether Bhutto was killed off by the president's people?

Wait, the media should ask critical questions?
Atrios has a short and sweet take on that question: Ours
I really don't have anything
particularly insightful to say
about Bhutto or the situation
in Pakistan generally, but I do think
it's important to understand that she
was our woman in Pakistan.
Not that the traditional media has any idea about any of that...
(can't wait to publish this to see how badly using a blockquote tag is going to mess up Holoscan!)

Hey, that wasn't so bad after all. Looks like I didn't need to add all those extra returns in the Eschaton snippet after all. Been collecting some other good links I'm planning on blogging when I get home from work, but I'd rather share them here first...
America Blog: Initial policy implications of Bhutto assassination
Hullabaloo: Pakistan Crisis For Dummies
doh! too many links on the first try...let's go with two instead!

And I hope two more won't raise any objections (since I think my favorite is the last one of these, though I've not read all of Juan Cole's yet.)

Benazir Assassinated
Implications for US Security

Thank goodness for blogs! I can let all those smart folks think for me :p

Just in case anyone is in doubt, the executive branch has taken more freedom from Americans than any Muslim ever did. If this guy gets into the oval office, it'll get worse.

If you have money you want to send to somebody on the fly, I have to recommend against using Western Union's website to do so.
On Saturday night when I was trying to use my bank debit card to send some much-needed cash to a friend in California, somebody got a hold of my debit card number while I was doing this and made three unsuccessful and one successful attempts to charge one dollar to get the card's access-information. My bank's computer disabled the card in response. That was why I found myself unable to make the WU transaction with my debit card. I didn't find out until I couldn't use my debit card to make a purchase a few days later. I did make my WU transaction successfully using my credit card. This morning I called my credit card company to make sure there was no unauthorized activity on the credit card. Fortunately, there wasn't.
WU's website is supposed to be secure. It was very disturbing to find out that secure websites can indeed be hacked.
