My stepdad lost one of his homes in New Orleans because he forgot to pay his taxes for two years after Katrina. With all the disruption and disorder since the disaster, though, it's made me wonder who was working behind the scenes to swipe his property.
Now, my stepdad is in his seventies, and not rich. He mourns that loss because it shows him that he needs help handling things, and everything slid on his watch.
Now the McBushes, they have accountants, flunkies, managers. Or they could pay for some of these to take care bidness. Anything else is an excuse. But hey, that's what they do. If they cannot handle their own affairs, how can they care for the country's?
Somebody really slipped on a banana peel on this one, though. I just wonder what new expletive McBush will heap on Cindy as they scramble for that last $1700 plus.

Damn. You know what happens to regular people when they don't pay their taxes, right? Yep. Hell, even people who are famous, but not white, still gotta deal with the man.
Cue the late, great Richard Pryor:
"I went to jail for tax evasion. I didn't know a motherfucking thing about no taxes. I told the judge, 'Your Honor, I forgot.' He said, 'Well you'll remember next year, n*****.'"
I guess the rules are different for the rich and white. But we knew that shit already, right?
