We must continue forever to keep the blame squarely on Bush and the GOP for all that they have done to the country. And reminding people that Nixon, Reagan and Bush I are part of legacy is the icing.
LM, the day after Crapraker's column came out, Keith Olbermann read that quote on the air and then showed a half-dozen televised spoken fuckups from the Goon. When it was done, he looked into the camera and held for a second, then said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the introspectively-speaking genius President of the United States. John Hinderaker, today's Worst Person in the World!"
I just want to know if AssRocket actually believes what he wrote. If so, he's either so dumb he requires a servant to constantly remind him to breathe, or he's so wacked on drugs that he needs to either stop or share. If not, then it's obvious that he's just another cynical greedhead happy to make money and fame off the suckers who believe his rubbish.
OT: LM, last week I had a dream that I met you in the subway; I recognized you by your LT #56 jersey. I think we talked politics for a few minutes, and then I woke up.

We let Reagan walk over Iran - Contra b/c everybody knew the old fool had been brain - dead for years. We viewed it as compassion; the Rovians viewed it as weakness.
The result has been the nightmare of
the last eight years.
All of them have to learn the ancient lesson that acts have consequences or we'll be doomed to repeat what's happened 20 or 30 years from now.

The Bush years remind me so much of "late imperialism" with W playing the role of the "demented dauphin." All of this rot and decay in our national leadership, brought to us by a very rotten judiciary, which has been under sustained conservative assault since the 1950s.
Robert Jackson, hero of Nueremburg (sp?), most surely will rest easier once Jan 20, 2009 arrives.

Sure, I blame Bush for a lot, but I'm not letting his former sycophants get away with tossing him aside.
When you hear Republicans talk about how awful Bush was, you can be guaranteed that every one of them were whole-heartedly worshiping him and doing everything they could to help him destroy the country and their own party.
Hypocrisy used to be something they could hide behind, but now, thanks to the 'Net, it's unbelievably easy to dredge up the Bush blowjobs of the past and throw them in the faces of the Republicans who now think they can pretend they never liked him.
