Hey TLG, can I steal that graphic?

It would make a great background image for our parents' organization that we're forming because EQCA...as Steve would have said...is still trying to figure out how to un-shit the bed that is Prop 8.

Our children can't wait for equality, regardless of whose religion says they don't deserve it. It's as simple as that.

Gravatar I found it on the internet, without attribution... so feel free I guess.

Gravatar This policy is especially damaging because gays are allowed to be foster parents but they cannot adopt in FL. I've heard of cases where the parents want to adopt their foster kids but the state doesn't let them, so they have to remain in the system in perpetuity.

Gravatar It's fine if you don't mind your kids exposed to the nassty that comes along with poop-chute lovin'.

Our country doesn't really need any more reason to be metrosexual, now does it? Haven't we skidded on the down-low far enough already?

Gravatar YoungBuck, does that mean you're so dim that you don't think anal sex occurs in straight marriages? I'm not sure how you were brought up, but most adults manage to keep their kids from watching them have sex (I hear there are laws against that).

There, troll, I have responded to you. Feel validated now? Good. Run away quickly, please.

Gravatar Looks like the good guys won this round.

Miami judge rules against Florida's ban on adoptions by gay people, finds 'no rational basis'

MIAMI (AP) _ A Miami judge has struck a blow against a Florida law banning adoptions of children by gay people.

Miami Dade Circuit Judge Cindy Lederman ruled Tuesday there was "no rational basis" for prohibiting gays from adopting children.

The ruling will allow 47-year-old Martin Gill to adopt two young brothers he has cared for as foster children since 2004.

Gravatar wow Fl courts doing the right thing..odss that it holds up?

Gravatar It should hold up since the court found "no rational basis." The state, if it appeals, now has the burden to PROVE that all of the experts who testified in support of the gay parents are total quacks. That in fact, their collective and individual testimonies are irrational.

While the state could succeed on that point, I find it highly unlikely.
