Geez, I've been crying an awfully lot this political season. I've been either numb or enraged for so long, I forgot what being moved felt like.
Lovely song. Lovely sentiment. They say that History is a river of blood, but what is really important is the lives being lead by the families on the banks of that river. It is good to be reminded of those lives and how all of us humans share the same basic feelings.
At the same time, those that self identify as a specific religion, no matter what religion, always look at others as the infidel. It is a sick, sad world.

Don't show this to right winger. They think that they got the Muslim types pegged as being them brown fellers. This has black and east asian and some that even *gasp* look white.
Now they'll have to go on an airplane and suspect everyone. For our more erstwhile conservative friends this was already the default position, but many are unaware that Muslims come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors.
