Reminds me a little of the Cod Wars in the '70's when the UK and Iceland went head-to-head (literally, as ships scraped past each other). Except, the UK didn't threaten to nuke Iceland!! Which is just as well, as it's a very nice place, and it's the only country where I've made it on to national tv.

The US sources now admit that the video of the Iranian boats zigging and zagging, and the audio with the threatening voice were taped SEPARATELY, and then MERGED into one entity (the video).

Now here is my $1,000,000 question:
Were they taped at the same TIME, or perhaps the audio was taped....before?

I thought from the start that the "threatening Iranian voices" sounded much more like some American doing their best to sound like a "threatening Iranian voice" while they were taping the 5 speedboats "surrounding" the 3 Navy ships. You know, sort of like the narration that always accompanied Mystery Science Theater 3000.
