And amazing public spas with wonderful sparkling facilities and hot springs and pools that are nicer than pay-to-use spas and gyms here.

And nice minke whale steaks--tasty! Eat THAT PETA! I "save the whales" in my TUMMY!

Seriously, I was there for the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival.

My wallet is still reeling (hello, $11 beers and $13 hot dogs) but I would go back just to do the spas and get outside of the capital to see more nature and stuff...and eat more minke whale steaks.

The really funny part is that Bush counted Iceland as part of the coalition of the willing in global war on terror despite the fact that they have no military.
