THere is no draft, all military service is voluntary. Dems hold majorities in congress.
So, are Dems going to institute a draft of 10 year olds over the next 8 years?

If you want to follow truth-in-advertising laws, you might want to change your name to "stupid." McCain has been quoted as saying that he would be fine with staying in Iraq for 100 years. If that were the case, children as young as the one in the commercial would be serving there.
But you could help prevent that. Enlist yourself. I'm sure a badass such as you could defeat the insurgency singlehanded.
Or better yet, enlist and get sent to Afghanistan. I'm told that Dear Leader is going to make one last push to try and get Osama before his term finally limps home next January.
You know times are hard when you can't even get half-rate trolls on a regular basis. This may be due to the fact that conservatives have nothing valid to contribute to the conversation anymore, forever.

Damn. That's brutally effective. It will kill McCain with folks from about 4 5 on down.
I saw the chuck todd response on c&l and I was heartbroken. Although, he's in a very sad time, I think its more likely people with small children get IT. Even when getting IT is so disturbing.
I think its a fair ad. Its just entirely too real for those who fail at connecting just how the admin has, and wants to continue to, abuse our military and squander its value to this country. Its smacks them in the face with their disconnect..... and they don't like that.
Their objection to using a baby in the spot reveals their failure to equate that all those soldiers are somebody's baby and, regardless of their age, they don't deserve to be used to build the military corporations for some people's personal gains. It scares them to relize they're just selectivly "pro-life".
Its a very effective ad and I hope it gets on the air in wide release.
I think the other "I'm voting Republican" is very effective as well and I'd like to see the dnc get that one on the air.
