201 yards and 3 touchdowns for Ryan Grant, a GB playoff record.

Not too long ago, Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck named George W Bush an "honorary Seahawk." And now Matt gets his ass handed to him on a platter. HA!!! That'll fix 'em.

Damn. My fantasy playoff team had Hasselbeck and Hackett. You shoulda seen the smug look on my face when the Seahawks led 14-0. Damn.

I kinda wonder why Hasselbeck's commercials seem to consist of him either having a fan write in to ask him to get someone else's autograph for them, or he gets sacked.

Now that I think of it, I think it was Favre's autograph the fan wanted.

Yeah!, well ManU clobbered Newcastle 6-0............ all the goals coming in the second half (beauties all), with Ronaldo scoring his first hattrick for Old Trafford. They took old Newcastle apart............ if it hadn't been for Sean Given (Newcastle's goalie) it might have been 10 or 12. Steve must definitely be smiling tonight.

Brett is so awesome! Did you see that diving throw he completed to Driver? Could anyone else in the history of mankind do that? I think not.
Here's hoping Dallas loses tomorrow. The Pack don't need another trip down there.
Sorry Jesse.

Unfortunately Favre has never won in Texas so I'm forced against my nature to root for a NY team. Besides, I don't think I could handle a Superbowl with both Jessica Simpson and Terrell Owens competing for attention.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh...its such a good time to live in New England (sunny smile, lots of teeth). This one didn't kill me.
The close Pats games damned near do kill me. I have the game on up and downstairs and I pace obsessively, generally matching them yard for yard around my house. You have no idea how hard it is to pace that much when your stomach is churning and your heartbeat is hammering in your ears. Gotta love football!
I know, I know, everyone hates the Pats...but just right now, I have a small, but nicely shaped and still quite firm ass available for biting...
I know I'm obnoxious. I can hardly stand myself

It's a wonder I didn't hear fireworks go off in Madison regarding this win. I'm sure everyone is out of their minds with joy...while at home or at the bar...sequestered by wall-to-wall snow, with a lot of beer, cheese and brats.
I'm not a fan, but I wish them well, even with a lot of sore heads on the morrow. The Pack must be back.

I'm a Seahawks fan and all I have to say is WOW! I don't think the Seahawks played well at all, but the Pack looked incredible. Those two safeties they have were flying all over the place and the O-line looks great. As I have nothing against them and hate both Dallas and NY, I hope they do well next week.

For a sports fan (apologies to hockey fans), hell yeah!
As a commuter, this morning, not so much.

Football...that's the game that Gilly was always teaching me how to play...something involving a fucked-up looking brown ball and guys in body armor. Apparently an integral part of the sport involves fermented beverages and chicken wings that by some chemical reaction have had their fat content upped 200%.

Moonglum,
Maybe you can get your bookie to have Bin Laden back the team you want to loose? Then you can call Ghouliani and the FBI and have them arrested--good times for your fave team's fans all around!
