Will he see a jail cell?
A joke, right?
Rove will die a rich old degenerate, never having seen a jail cell apart from tours of Gitmo back in the day. The *right people* NEVER get hurt.

I disagree, I think that as the sink ships, they will be happy to scape goat someone like this. Let him be the big-bad. It wasn't us, it was all Karl's idea...

Congress has ALWAYS had the power to compell someone to appear before a committee, it's called "inherent contempt."
Wake up. Bush has a willing partner in Congress.

I honestly think the clintons were holding them back. I see no reason why we haven't seen this earlier.
GV - under that "inherant contempt" congress can actually go and arrest him.... and hold a trial even. :-O
45 days I guess and we'll see how their backbones are developing.

Rove's done. He's not just useless to the GOP, he's a liability to them. And like any other political operator, being ignored is the worst thing that could happen to him.

They are going to love his pudgy pasty fat ass in the joint. Tossed Salad anyone?
Hubris I did not need that image in my head.
Thanks alot buddy.
BTW does Seigleman have any civil litigation options open over this?
I'm assuming not but I just wanted to ask.
I would settle seeing Rove out free but having to give every last dime to Gov. Seigelman in the future as much as him serving jail time.

Questions, questions.
*Can Bush pardon him just like Scooter?
*Can he flee to, say, an island state he can't be extradited from, or is he automatically put on a no-fly list?
* Are Ashcroft or Gonzales implicated?
*Is he crafty enough to slither out of his latest trap?
*Will/can he rat out Dubya, Dickie, Condi & the creepy crew on the Plame setup for a plea-bargain?
*If he does, how many years will that take off his lifespan?
*If some big mean Bubba inside DOES make Herr Rove his bitch, how much would one have to pay for tickets to said event, & is videotaping allowed?
*Is that simmering pork I smell?

I know this is a futile endeavor on my part, but:
Regardless of the target (and believe me, I bow to none in my hatred of that ambulatory tub of fetid dingo droppings, Karl Rove) I don't find jokes about prison rape at all amusing. The fact we not only tolerate it, but think it's a real knee-slapper, is a telling indicator of what a deeply degenerate society we live in.

professor fate is right.
A Judgement at Nuremberg type thing is fine with me too, but I'll take anything. Six months for parking tickets, anything.
We have to get the process started again.
