During college, I belonged to a small political group trying to get some reforms going in student government because it was dominated by the Greek societies. We used the yin/yang symbol on party literature. One night while I was passing out leaflets, this girl ran up and asked me what the symbol meant. A truly pathetic lie but typical of these frightened clowns who had used student government to do nothing worthwhile.
This one got taken apart on snopes.com. In fact, if you check the "what's new" section of the snopes Web site, you can't help noticing that damned near every phony political email they've debunked recently has been an anti-Obama smear from the lunatic right.
It's funny- the Mikkelsons, who run the snopes site, are right-wing Republicans, but they keep right on checking out and debunking the products of the Rethug smear machine.

Well, seeing as how they've devoted themselves to sniffing out the truth and separating it from the lies, they're probably terribly embarassed that their political peer-group has become so pathetic and desperate.
