While I had considerable doubts initially w/ Obama's willingness to fight and his initial lack of substance, I do feel that he has addressed them and should make a fine president.

Thanks for the clip. In addition to being competent, smart, and cool under pressure, Obama comes across as a genuinely grounded (no doubt in large part due to Michelle, who has her priorities straight). It makes me feel more confident his two girls will come through the campaign and President Obama's first term just fine.
(TLG, I think Bollox was making a joke at the expense of a certain other candidate's supporters who whine that way. But as a former Edwards supporter myself, where IS the respect and dignity from you damn Obamabots? Admit it: it's because you hate white male professionals

I've been very impressed by Obama and his team's forceful response to typical GOP (and Lieberbot) idiocy.

In honor of Steve G., a prediction in November: A Democratic Route, across the US. McCain is a HORRIBLE campaigner, he makes Bob Dole look good. And Obama is just fabulous on his feet--not as good as HRC in a debate, but jeez, he's smart, can think on his feet and has a fabulous speaking voice (HRC does not). McCain actually gets "squeaky" under stress, which kinda blows that "macho military" pose to hell.
Yup, get out to help the dems win this one. We need to make sure REAL dems are in Congress so Obama can take the US in a much better direction.
My initial opposition to Obama was that I thought he wouldn't fight hard enough.
I was wrong.
Already he has the McCain campaign on the defensive on multiple fronts. He's made the activist class VERY happy with keeping Dean and the 50-state strategy in place, and quite frankly the no-lobbyist policy for fundraising is a political nuclear warhead he has in his arsenal.
It's the most aggressive campaign that the Democrats have put together in god knows how long, and it's all done with a happy smile and a sense of humor.
