Today is the first day since Thursday that I feel like the damned thing is actually merging with the real me. The whole area is finally stabilizing. Upper teeth and lower meet on the right side and I don't feel like going in there with an ice-cream scooper and violently gouging out the aftermarket parts.
The swelling has subsided and the pain is much less—although my daughter gave me a hug and a kiss on that side's cheek that sent me swooning for a moment this morning.
All things being equal, I feel more like my flesh and blood self and much less like the cyborg Superman villain Hank Henshaw. 
unfortunately LM, the kissing is the last thing that comes back. this morning, a quick peck on the cheek made me yelp. that's right, an ex-SEAL, with three goddamn purple hearts, yelping in the morning from a kiss. i was ready to do the same with the ice cream scoop. they keep telling me it gets better, and so far, they've been right. it's been two weeks since the major rennovations and things are calming down. but damn it, i would love a good make out session. yelps of joy instead of pain and shit.
anyway. rush is totally deranged. he's feeling absolutely marginalized by the process. ignored. that's one of the things when dealing with grandiose motherfuckers like rush, they hate being ignored.
what he has been advocating has always been ugly.
i would pray that one of the dominican whores he visited is given five minutes alone with rush, her with a dull knife.

I'm honestly surprised people aren't trolling the bastard 24/7, winding him up until he says something fatally embarrassing. I know that's hard, seeing as how he manages to hit new lows all by himself, but his luck can't last forever.
