Gravatar Thoughts? I only had one: Vicente Fox is on a comedy show, sitting in the same chair Musharraf sat in, and no, I am not hallucinating this rational discussion.

That was enough. I then wished I could have a long talk with Tim Russert, but he doesn't seem to the be the learns-from-experience type.

Gravatar Who ever thought this guy would end up on US TV talking about Ireland, Spain and Portugal ? Unheard of.

Gravatar Jon joked about his tortured role exposing the strengths of Fox's and Evo Morales' competing arguments, and was funny. But where else in the US media do you see world powers make their contrasting cases?

A cute story: an old high school buddy is an accomplished journalist (and you could even figure out who he is if you dug a little). At a recent get-together with our buddies, it was unanimous that the rest of us watch TDS and blow-off network news. I mean, scientists, lawyers, old girl friend's formerly conservative parents, businessmen, everyone. Boy was it funny to watch our buddy squirm.

Gravatar I think I'd rather talk about Reese Witherspoon.

Gravatar Old news.

Fox is now irrelavant.

The myth of a Canadian to Mexican Amero Merger is NOT what you posted about, and that's likely a decade apart, anyway, if at all.

This is news?

Gravatar I've seen him on a couple of interview shows and each time I think the same thing. Here's the "leader" of a country that caused a substantial population of human beings to invade a neighboring country for the basics of a job, food for their family, and a roof over their heads. How could he allow people to be so desperate as to risk their lives, do illegal acts, and become the new slave wage class in said neighboring country. He has some gall to attempt to paint himself as anything other than that of bushco's bullshit spreader. That he is even allowed in this country, let alone given a mic, is beyond belief. I see a complete failure of a person in Vincente Fox which rivals dear leader's incompetence.

Gravatar I was annoyed that Fox was softballed -- he's betrayed his country more times than I've wasted good working time on the web -- but I was annoyed only because his political opponents on the left (such as Chavez) have such a bad rap on the Daily Show. Chavez gives out free medicine to the poor, Fox helps drug dealers run Mexico. I know the Daily Show isn't real news, but it's playing obnoxious favorites here -- and the U.S. people don't have many other outlets to see these politicians. Fox is no more moral than Cheney -- just better spoken.
