Murtha voted with the minority of his Democratic colleagues for the 2002 AUMF against Iraq. His support for redeployment has always been seen as the generals indicating their preference to get out of Iraq before it totally destroys the US military's combat effectiveness.

It's March 19th. Pennsylvania is on April 22nd. One month and 3 days more of Pennsylvania 24/7. If the corporate media could do issues instead of horserace, they could spend time talking about stuff that actually matters. But it will be all Wright, Murtha, Hillary's tax returns blah blah blah blah.

And I didn't see in the corporate media any criticism of the fact that the federal reserve seems it will soon be paying banks to take their money(3/4ths of a point! God damn).

wengler you forgot the NAFTA bash fest.

Mexico has fuck all to do with the collapse of integrated steel mill employment but a district like Murtha's is all about teh brown menace.

Gravatar Given his history as the worst kind of old time pork barrel politician, Murtha probably does not like Obama's emphasis on ethics and transparency.

I'm sure he would be much more comfortable with the "ethics" of another Clinton administration.

Gravatar I agree with Murtha politics, he is a real man with cool and direct mind, last time i supported him in the election in which he represents the 12th district of Pennsylvania and also against the Iraq war.

Gravatar He's also against admitting he was wrong about Marines "murdering in cold blood".
