Two Iranian officials, one the naval commander for the Revolutionary Guards and the other a close adviser to Ayatollah Khamenei, have stated it again as clearly as humanly possible - an attack on Iran will meet with a retaliatory strike.
I can see Israel and Cheney going through with it anyway. Nothing like insanity to render the mind faultlessly clear.

US officials are make-believing that Iran is Iraq.
It's not.
It's three times larger, it's an ancient culture with national cohesion. It's Persian. It has strong operation ties with factions that have practiced so-called "4th generational warfare". It is rugged. It has lots of mountains. It has lots of artillery. It has SAM sites for when you try to strike that artillery from the air. It has an mines to cut off the Persian Gulf. It has torpedo boats that can slip out from that coast that is oh so close and put one in the water before you know it. It has a direct line to Moscow to order as many weapons as it needs.
Whatever. Bomb them. It will give you more power.
