I think Obama's group can pull it off. I mean he DOES need a bigger venue. It scares the poo out those pubbies :-D I like it! I'd consider driving to Denver for thaaaaaat. He's got some serious firing UP of the peeps to do and this will be worth it. So all those ape-shitter-goers can just suck it up and get it done! 
Relax, Jesse, you can walk to Mile Hi Stadium from the Can (what we locals call the Pepsi Center). As for the media center, someone's gonna pull down some overtime. Good for the economy, good for the Union guys.

And it is not like Mile High is not set up for media... Remember they play FOOTBALL there which is the most filmed sport from the most fancy angles and "produced" coverage. More than any other sport (except maybe the Olympics) I think it will be fine. Plus they have a month and some change to work on logistics, which is way better than 48 hrs. I think it will ok!

I suspect Denver is more than capable of holding more than one media event at a single time. Modern NFL Stadiums like Invesco Field are fully wired and media capable. It's not like they're holding this event out in a cornfield somewhere.
In any event, they have more than a month to plan for this thing. I'm sure the professionals involved will figure out how to pull things off without visible hitches.

I have no problem with it, but it's gonna suck if the weather is bad, or worse if it is iffy. I don't think Obama giving a speech in the rain is what they are looking for.
LHG- in the bottom of that article you linked it says that Mr. Obama has admitted to using both ganja and cocaine. Wow, honesty from a politician on the big non-issue.

PS- If it rains in Denver in late August too bad- this is a semi-arid climate and we need all the rain we can get. Plus the odds are rather unlikely.

I've been to a couple of rainy Rolling Stones concerts where the rain stopped when Keith Richards came out for his solo turn. I expect something similar would happen in Denver should it rain
Wyrm: first off its denver, odds of rain are extreamly low.
secondly, Obama started this run when the temp was in the single digits...i don't think a little rain will bother them.
TLG: Orange boots and poncho are a great start -- but you'd also need fabulous earrings and probably a coordinating tote (I'd go for bright blue myself) to make it truly Hooshed Up.
Also makeup and big hair (in your case, and updo), which are key to any kind of hooshing.
One of the kids at school said the easiest way to trash this is for the protesters to go out and buy large radio controled aircraft and blow security away. Gotta hand it to teenagers,creative.
I so want to do a Hooshing It Up party... get all my friends together, Get all Hooshed up and then go to tea at the Ritz. How fun would that be?!
You have to know me to know how utterly un-hooshy I am... makes me grin just thinking about it.
honestly I do envy gals that can pull it off though I wouldn't want to live that way every day. I would like a tiffany's moment myself every once in a while.
The Col | gotta love kids and their naivate...no plane, remote controlled or not gets close...and then you go to jail for a very long time.
