But then, the YouTube posts generally don't get that many comments.

I like YouTubes. And spend as much time finding the right ones as I do on other posts. They don't especially save time.

It's just that when I'm turning out three posts a day, which I'm trying to get back to, say half the time, and two a day, most of the rest of the time, I just can't write them all. Some of them need to be other stuff.

Oh well... back to work on tonight's stuff. *grins*

I have to admit that I get the urge to weep unashamedly at that bit of "Apollo 13." I can close my eyes and see it all as it was, and weep for our lost sense of collective wonder.

Brings back the memories. I closely followed the Apollo space flights as a kid. I recall reading at the time a newspaper article breathlessly stating that the calculations done to bring the Apollo 13 astronauts back home after the oxygen tank exploded were done on a computer in minutes and that they would have taken thousands of years to do if done by hand.

I, too, am a huge fan of the space program. It was a big deal in our house growing up. Apollo 13, the movie, just captured that so right on.

Your title caught me too. I had just viewed this latest ad from the JE campaign so I was already inspired. (I know its political.... but more its a "we CAN do it" sentiment".) I like it. Good musics too
