I've read some stuff about Norway, Sweden and Denmark having problems with their immigrant communities, much like France. They want them to melt in, but they don't provide the education and the jobs that go with them.
The immigrant situation is going to heat up even more in Scandinavia with this development. There are some nativists over there that could put ours to shame. And with Nazi overtones. Bet on it.
Once again, another country points out the fallacy the US labors under - that combatting terrorism is an essentially military operation.
It's not.
Dollars to kringla that this was an all law enforcement operation from start to finish, building one small clue at a time until an edifice strong enough to stand up in court waws erected.

Denmark's armed forces are tiny (they tend to spend elsewhere), so a law enforcement angle would take priority................. as opposed to nuking the known world upon receipt of a garbled phone message........ that turns out to be a computerized customer response call from Qwest.
I saw Brian "Mr. Nightly News" Williams said nada about this tonight. I guess Denmark wasn't one of the Coalition of the Willing.

....the best way to beat terrorism...old fashion police work in counrty and sold manpower based inteligance around the world. ditch the gadgets, ditch teh theater and roll up your sleaves for doing the nose to the grind stone, blue coller type investigateing...this is why the republicans will never get it righ, they hate hard work.
And the type of infiltration necessary will be fought on all fronts because it requires, profiling, eavesdropping, and possibly law enforcement.
