Gravatar Oh.... I thought this was all because Obama is...

a black.

I feel better that, since these people have gone off their meds, they feel free to open up with the tourette's blogging.

Not like there's anything more important going on, like...

A FUCKING WAR.

Gravatar Soft leather helmets? That'd clash with the tinfoil, wouldn't it?

Gravatar Ya know what I was just thinking, was that the last time I heard stuff this deranged was... the last time there was a Democratic president. Sure, Obama isn't president yet, and may not get elected, but I do think it shows that the maddest, most paranoid, must utterly impossible ranting always comes from the GOP.

And we should plan for a whole hell of a lot of crazy-person stream-of-consciousness once a Democrat is in office. This may be a good time to invest in companies that make tinfoil and "The Truth is Out There" posters.

Gravatar Yeah, I occasionally post on Larry's blog. He's completely unhinged on Obama--Like Jerry Falwell on Bill Clinton in the 1990s.

And the soft helmet is spot on. Oy....

Gravatar You forgot that Obama is a red diaper baby, a communist love child experiment!

If I had any money left I would buy stock in Reynolds Wrap, unfortunately I'm too poor now for such things :-(

Gravatar tenacitus the red diper baby coems from the far right...they might actualy beleive it.

the weatehr under ground crap, that coems from hilarys camp, they dont' beleive a word of it , but they will push it heavly. they will do ANYTHING for power.

Gravatar thankfully Taylor Marsh has this all covered, she really does not want Obama to be swiftboated & hortoned.

I am very glad that Ms Marsh is concerned that the right democrat is nominated.

Gravatar There are a large number of people who have little credibility left.

Gravatar tenacitus: If I had any money left I would buy stock in Reynolds Wrap...

save your money. Reynolds makes aluminum foil, not tin foil.

A wingnut that wears an aluminum foil hat thinks that they're protected from the mind-control rays but they're NOT! Of course, the first belief to be implanted is that the aluminum foil "works". Gets 'em every time, it does.

Yeah, I'm a mean person. I snicker at cargo cults, too.

Gravatar But I mess up bold tags all the time... sigh

Gravatar Hubris Sonic you are makeing the assumption that people liek tylor had credibility to start with..they will say anythign for a buck.

Snarki, you jest and forget about the navy mind controll ray (well it dosn't controll you, but it can beam messages right into your head)

Gravatar Ok clinton staff is leaking a photo of obama in "tribal" costume...and tryign to push (well suceeding some what as MSNBC and CNN have carried it) that obama isn't patriotic due ot his lack of lapel pin...this realy is rock bottom for hor...pure rovean attacks, but doen badly...they are makign rove look compitant. Is there any one left that can actualy support her?

the clintons don't care about democrats..the yonyl care about the clintons...how can you give your loyalty to someone how shows you none in return?

Gravatar Why does Nedra Pickler still have a job?

Gravatar Well, Hub, the people at Reynolds and Alcoa like them. :o)

Gravatar HS, you don't unnerstan, tsall true! The UFO transmissions bein received by my dental fillings told me so!

Gravatar "These people should wear a soft leather helmet when they go outdoors."

Why? It's not like there's anything there to protect.

Gravatar Get it right, they are Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanies

From the testimonial pages

It are important that we not misunderestimate the power of Alimony Dereliction Beans to stop evildoers from subliminably hurting the minds of those who is having them.

Gravatar OT: Bollox!

It's a done deal. The Brits are staying. No more withdrawals, at least, not until after Iraq moves onto the democratic "watch".

At which point the republicans will miraculously cavort in the streets and shreik "Who lost Iraq?" if it implodes.

Gravatar I think the point of the Clinton's not caring about any other Democrats is, how ever painful for me to acknowledge, painfully true.

Howard Dean has actually done more rebuilding the Democratic base as DNC chair than either Bill Clinton or Terry McCullife did during the 1990s. Dean said the Dems HAD to be a 50 state party or they would be increasingly irrelevant.

Obama has capitalized on this, while Hiliarly Clinton continues to listen to Mark Penn, a self-congratulatory "genius" if there ever was one. Needless to say, Clinton now doesn't have enough delegates on the ballot in PA, although the PA Governor, Ed Rendall, is her state chair. HT Atrios!

How screwy is that?

Gravatar Flogging a horse race that was over three weeks ago brings teh crazy bubbling to the surface.

Gravatar The truly hilarious part about this Weather Underground nonsense is that, given that the median age of the country is somewhere in the mid - 30's, the majority of the people who are exposed to this swill probably don't have a clue as to what the Weather Underground is in the first place.

They're probably checking out the Weather Channel to see if there's a bunch of subversive weather reporters. And who can blame them?

If you're going to smear someone, at least use something that is culturally relevant.

Gravatar You have to admit that sending out the stupid, like this traditional dress photo, now by the Clinton Campaign inoculates Obama from it coming up in the General Election as a big deal.

Pour it on... From the fire of conflict comes the right choice... even though I think the choice for Obama has already been made.

Gravatar Amuse, I dearly hope you're right.

Because, inherent in that choosing is that John McCain and his hundred-year-plan will become a sacrificial goat in the general.

Gravatar brat you miss the point compleatly...clinton didn't fail at buildign the base in teh 90's. the clinton crew activly distroyed the base that was there. They wanted (and still want) to turn the dems into a kinder and gentler version of the republicans (only slightly). it was all about the fundrasieng game to them..they say the republicans cleaining up on the big busness fundrasing. their answer was to make the democrats mroe palatable to big busness at teh expense of the voters.

Gravatar tenacitus the red diper baby coems from the far right...they might actualy beleive it.

Moon,

Sadly, some Clinton surrogates are floating this too.

They are shameless.

Gravatar fbd,

LOL! Checking the Weather Channel!! LOL!

They neglect to mention that Bill Clinton pardoned several of those people. One of whom went on to work with at risk youth.
I thought Hillary cared about that?
Someone needs to tell her insurgents to stop spreading this silliness before she has to answer some question.

Gravatar I had to add this
From KYW:

Prosecutors say that two brothers-in-law tried to settle the presidential race on the kitchen floor of a Collegeville, Pa. home.

Jose Ortiz, 28, is now behind bars on felony assault charges after prosecutors say he stabbed Sean Shurelds inside a home in the 100 block of Honeylocust Court.

District attorney Risa Ferman says a heated debate over the candidates escalated into violence:

"One is a supporter of Barack Obama, the other is a supporter of Hillary Clinton, and an argument of words turned bloody when one brother-in-law tried to choke the other and the victim then responded with a knife and stabbed his brother-in-law in the stomach."

Shurelds was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Ortiz is jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail. Police found the knife in the dishwasher.

If Ortiz is convicted of the felony charge, he won’t be able to vote. And voter registration records reveal that Ortiz, who supports Clinton, is registered Republican.

Gravatar When writing plays or poetry the one thing that is stressed and needed is that the writer never underestimate his or her audience.

This swiftboating from the right, and sadly from the left, will only backfire. Why? Because the GOP and the HC camp have and continue to underestimate their audience, the people of the US...

Gravatar Cee: some of the clinton serogates may jsut be certifably insane (after readign her blog i think marsh fits in taht catagory) others relises its jsut a load of crap...but it works for republicans so obviusly it will work in a dem primary...cause you know dems and republicans are the same people....

most of the crap from the HRC supporters (obama supporters as cultest, mysagonists, obama as a muslim, commie, supporter of the weather underground ec.) is jsut disengenious crap...hillarys camp knows its either false, irrelivant, or both...they would do ANYTHING to win

I do beleive some folks owe tanbark and myslef and apoligy. he espicaly was attacked for speakign the truth about clinton...i was hammered for stateign that she was no better then a republican...I can keep waiting. the "i told you so's" fell so much better the longer its dragged out

Gravatar oh and there is a website called weather underground that is compeating with teh weatehrchannle. wunderground.com

damm subversive meteroligists.

Gravatar When you have a question, you should always ask a wise man:

"Hey, George Carlin, what's the Weather Underground?"

"Dark."

Gravatar The Clinton camp needs an attack that doesn't register so generationally. I mean, it makes sense for someone who came of age in the 60s like Senator Clinton did, but Obama...he was 9 when the 60s ended.

Nice attempt, try again. Uh oh, picture of Obama in African regalia. I guess Clinton doesn't think racially coded attacks matter anymore because she gave up on winning many black people a long time ago. Which is a terrible strategy as a Democrat, and just barely works if you are a Republican.

Gravatar wengler, the racist attacks started in SC they jsut abandoned plausible dinability and made the dog wistle louder. So how dose it feel clinton supporters to get thrown under the bus like this.

face it if they are willing to go to race baiting for political points they are racist...or put it another way, someone who wasn't racist would not race bait for political points (allways the hart of my problem with kunnich)

Gravatar Moonglum, I guess I'm out of the loop. What did Kucinich do?

Gravatar back when he first ran for mayor, so decades ago he ran a overtyl racist campaign..he has admited the mistake...i gues i just dont' buy his change of hart.

of and heres for the "clinton may not have sent that picture" crowd

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/ ...hillaryclinton1

the gradian last october noteign how clinton was cosieign up to drudge as a realease point for her FUD targeted at other democratic canadates.

Gravatar moonglum:

I hope Hillary isn't paying Drudge 5 million.

Gravatar "The Clinton camp needs an attack that doesn't register so generationally."

-Psst...he's BLACK, you know, like Jesse Jackson.

Gravatar This thread is encouraging.

Just yet, we shouldn't pay too much attention to Saint John the Course-Stayer: he'll take care of himself in the general. In fact, as we have recently seen, he's already started to do it. :o)

No. We have to finish sinking the GOP lifeboat; the SS Clinton. :o) With any luck, that will happen a week from tomorrow.

And if it does, the GOP "stock" on the market will take a decided plunge. :o)

Gravatar tanbark,

I'm starting to think McCain has more lobbyists and felons on board running his campaign than even St. Rudy of 9/11.

Gravatar Whoa!!!

McCain gets it right, then wishes he hadn't. :o)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ 20080...HnAw1b7M9Os0NUE

Gravatar the Clinton camp needs to cue-up that sad walking-away music from the Incredible Hulk, is what the carnsarn-frakasackin Clinton camp needs to do...the likes of these poor benighted sods are going to be enough for the cult of Obama to overcome...

Gravatar Wengler, you are, no doubt, as "right as a snake" as an old country-boy friend of mine used to put it. :o)

But, the best thing about McCain, as we saw today, when he blabbed the truth about the war and the election, and then tried to re-insert the words back into his mouth and brain, is that he carries the seeds of his and the GOP'S destruction within himself, and there is no way to "fire" or distance himself from them. :o)

Also, re: The Muslim-smear of Obama, it's beginning to look as if the Clinton camp WAS responsible for that, and it wasn't just Drudge playing agent-provacateur.

Which means that she's now in Rove-mode.

Which is no great surprise. :o)

Gravatar tanbark 6 months ago hte clinton campaing braged about haveing drudge as a font of FUD for them in the primaries...i wonder how he feels about being tossed under the bus with the rest of the clinton supporters.

Gravatar no, its not tinfoil, these people are paranoid nutjobs (well, they might be), they are just stupid.

Gravatar OT: Bollox!

Huh, you know more than I do (been savouring Spurs' victory over Chelsea in yesterday's Carling Cup).

So, Bush must have came through for Brown, releasing the secrets of the Winchester Repeating Rifle. I'm sure the squaddies marooned overseas will be thrilled.

As for the Rethugs and their dolschtosslegende........... yep, it's going to get nasty after Jan 2009 and a Dem president. Prepare to duck!!....... incoming!

Gravatar ARG!...

"aren't paranoid"...

Gravatar Moonglum:

What's FUD?

Gravatar Fear Uncertintly and Doubt. a sales technique that was mainstreamed by ibm and taken to new leves by microsoft. it is also the republican play book (my guess is they learned it form watchign MS work). it tends to work very well over short periods of time, but it has a high diminishing returns point. after taht more fud actualy has a negitive effect.

its an IT term that fits what hillary is doign very well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Fea...ainty_and_doubt

Gravatar I suspect that the GOP-lite strategies HRC has been using would have worked a few years ago. Is it possible that a critical mass of my fellow USAmericans have FINALLY wised up to the intellectual, moral, and literal financial bankruptcy of conservatism?

Gravatar IBW FUD allways wears off...it make take soem time, but eventualy people get jaded enough that the fud jsut dosn't carry the punch it once did.
