Maybe he looks that way because he's now the target of the doper detectors? Or maybe he's not all hopped up like the other ones?
Just a thought.
PS: He looks just fiiiine to me :-D

One hopes the rest of the Tour will be run without seeing any more riders carried off at the finiah line by the gendarmes.

I am really applauding Sandy Casar for recovering from his crash to win the stage. What courage. The road rash he picked up is probably going to hurt for weeks to come.
What is it about dogs? Can't they see the bikes coming? Today is the second time this Tour that a dog has crossed slowly in the path of the cyclists, as if the road were empty. Both times, the pooch was clearly totally surprised by the hit. Did all the noisy motorcycles drown out the sound of the oncoming bikes? Or is it true that dogs don't really have very good eyesight?

You would think that dog owners would pen up their dogs along the route in order to avoid these crashes. But I guess, they could be strays too, used to traffic and noise.
Will the winner be the only one left, the only one who's legal, the last one standing, or the fastest cyclist? Stay tuned.

One of the best stage finishes in a long time. Casar must have thought "Thank you, Lord" when he saw the three leaders go wide around the traffic island. Absolutely brilliant move. I'd have liked to see Axel win a stage for once in his career, but 'twas not to be.
