Gravatar we got a thiiiiiiiing going on
we both know that it's wrong
but it's much too stroooong...

Oh, god this is depressing me now.

Gravatar Watching the C-SPAN feed now. I haven't watched him talk in a while; *man* does he babble.

Gravatar It took me till june 2003 to clean the angry spit flecks off my teevee, from calling 'bullshit' over Iraq, I had become quite sanguine about GWB and the incoherent ramblings of the man, on our teevee they always edit him and make him look like a simpleton, but he did it on his own and it was UGLY!

he was drowning in sexual chocolate, and there was only the brooks/kristol life preserver left to save him. Pity it can't float.

Gravatar the man has never spoken a truthfull word in his entire presidnacy...he is only now haveing a naked emporor moment for you???? Look the 20% well still blindly fallow him, because it would break them to think that an authority figure would be wrong...that just dosn't happen in their paridime...just can't happen. The media will still shill for him, at least untill its no longer in the best interests of their corperate masters, and the dems in congress will still do nothing...at least until its no longer in the best interests of their corperate masters.

Gravatar Spot-on analysis. But this:

.'cause you know he don't drink no more...

I know no such thing. The whole story of his clamber on the wagon is so implausible and weak it's amazing anybody believes it.

Man, I can't wait until the memoirs are published and we find out what the hell has really been going on in this pathetic White House.

Gravatar ... the 20% [will] still blindly [follow] him, because it would break them to think that a Republican authority figure would be wrong...

There. Fixed it for you, moonglum.

Sounds like the White House correspondents are regaining some small portion of their cojones. Many years too late to avert any of the major disasters of this presidency. But better late than never, I guess.

By the time a Democratic occupies the Oval Office, I'm certain they'll have managed to overcome any lingering timidity, and be priding themselves on 'nads so big they have to tote them around in wheelbarrows.

Be that as it may, nice one, LM.

I hope you'll forgive me, though, if I zing you on a pet peeve: The expression is "toe the line". Wikipedia has the straight dope. Besides, you never tow a line; you tow whatever the line's attached to.

Gravatar “.'cause you know he don't drink no more...”

Ohhhh, I was being a sarcastic bastard, dontchaknow!

Gravatar prof. fate:

It's a mistake I make all the time...irregardless of how many times it's pointed out to me.

Gravatar LM:

Just think of yourself as a casualty of the homophone agenda.

Gravatar LM:

Yes, of course I knew. But still. That damned story stinks so bad it pisses me off every time I see it.

You know of course that the stories Kissinger told about Nixon cracking up in 1974 are going to be put in the cold, cold shade by the blood-curdling tales that are going to come out of this White House. These are some seriously fucked-up creeps.

I can't wait to hear just how they're fucked-up, though. Is that so wrong?
