Um, I guess I shouldn't call it their technique. McCarthyism was built on the big lie as was the black-list. Joseph Goebbels used the big lie to perfection. Stalin was damn crude with the big lie, but with the KGB behind him and the gulags and mental institutions waiting, he didn't have to be.
Lies work when the media go along with those in power and those in power are backed up by brutal force. Then all that is left is alternative means of getting the word out to those who refuse to believe what their own brains and senses tell them -- the emperor has no clothes.
I watched it. The "RETURN ON SUCCESS" horseshit really stuck in my craw.
Our kids, our parents, our grandparents, heck in some cases, even our great-grandparents are merely Balance Sheet and Income Statement line items for our so-called "Commander-in-Chief".
While I subscribe to a "pick yourself UP by the bootstraps" approach to life, the "douchebag in chief" clearly does not.
He clearly believes in the redistribution of wealth, but only towards those BORN with a silver spoon in their mouths. The rest of us are cannon fodder.
He is the loudmouthed douchebag we have all met in a bar, at a party, or at work, that needed a good ass-whuppin'.
Anyway, I only posted once or twice when Steve was around. I'm glad you guys are keeping his spirit alive.
