So, so many of those people have to know they're going to be shipped off to the sandbox as soon as they're out of basic. It does rather amaze me that there are those willing to subject themselves to that. If I were in that position, it would only take one picture of an Iraq veteran who has survived burn injuries to have me filling out a Wal-Mart application instead. ("Yes, Mr. Self-Important Manager Guy, I've wanted to work at Wal-Mart for chump-change ever since I was a wee lad! It's my one-and-only life's dream!")
