Terri and TLG, what took you to Tokyo and how long have you been there? How long are you planning to stay? I've always been interested in people's migratory patterns and yours' seem like a long journey.
Maybe I'll write a post about that sometime soon. good idea.

Yes, don't mean to go off-topic. Leona, the interviewee in the video, began with a little discussion of migration within her area. How people, individually and collectively, go from point A to B and sometimes to C is facinating to me.

Rosali, it's a weird story, as all true stories tend to be:
was a singer/songwriter, HS of Music & Art grad, went to Fordham, hated college, worked for CBS Records Int'l for a decade doing business affairs, fell in love with some cool bands from Japan, managed 1 in particular, Pizzicato Five, for almost 9 years, they brought us to Tokyo, didn't work out, struggling a little or a lot ever since, now independent new media producer and Field Director for Northern Asia for Obama '08.
shoot, that was a bigger nutshell than I expected

oh, and I've been here 11 years. once we get Obama into the white house, I'll focus on the business and build it up enough to hand over to my great team here, and live elsewhere - Japan is not a place I want to live in past 55, so I've got another 5 years to go...
Wonderful job Terri! I agree with Leona and I hope she keeps doing what she's doing. She's right. Glad to see the scholarships went to such great people. Looking forward to more of your interviews!
