You know, there's a bar in Flatiron that has "name night." You show up the night that it's your name, they prove it (license), you get a wristband and a special cup. You drink free all night.

And yes, more than once I dragged along several other Jens for "Night of A Thousand Jens!" whereby I got very intoxicated.

Mike Doughty is great. Saw him at a Morning Sedition live broadcast at City Bakery in 2005. I have a cat named Jennifer, and I'd be thrilled to have 27 of her.

Bar is called “No Idea” on 20th St. between Broadway and Park. Yeas, I'm a regular, along with most of my softball team. Fun place!
