Upper 40's, gray, more of the same for tomorrow. Weekend plans: cleaning and decluttering. I was off work one day and watched a Clean House marathon on the Style Channel. Now I am inspired.

Snow all day, highs in the 20's. Typical spring in the Adirondacks.
April is the cruelest month.
I plan to rest this weekend, since I have still, after almost four weeks, not entirely shaken the rotten flu that has rampaged through the area. Found out that the CDC totally missed how the mutation went, and so everyone was vaccinated against the wrong strain.
I know this has happened in the past. But it shows how important good science is, even for those who would deny it.

Almost forgot - have to share the plans for the weekend. Not much, really; working 6AM-6PM, followed by potting up this year's replacements for my herb garden (you can't beat cooking with fresh herbs).

low 80s, low sun of daylight savings time has chased off earlier clouds. I love this light.
My community is participating in Earth Hour tomorrow from 8-9pm ... we are having friends over for a backyard cue under the lights of our new solar patio umbrella. Got it for hubby for this bday yesterday.
Wishing all a good weekend ...

Blizzard this morning, too. About 3" stuck (but not to the roads). Then the sun came out and it's bright but cold. 45 and "sun-breaks" (gotta love the PNW weather lingo.)

Middle 70's....cloudy, kind of looks like rain....a pleasant mugginess outside and breezy. Gonna be at the Texas Democratic delegate convention tomorrow....husband is a delegate from our precinct and I'm an alternate. As I understand it, they'll decide who goes to the state convention.
Looking forward to the process.

It was sunny and cool -- probably high 60's, but now it's clouded over. High clouds.
i have the perverse reaction that gray skies make me cheerful -- I have no idea why.
This weekend my older stepson turns 17. There will be restaurant dinners. Our best buddies are out of town, took them to the airport this morning, so not much doing.

We had our snow yesterday here in Milwaukee. Not enough to really stick on the ground, which is good, because we've already had more than enough snow. This winter has been the second worst since they started keeping records. It's always cooler by Lake Michigan, so April will certainly be chilly, especially in Cudahy, which is right smack next to the freaking lake. It's in the low 30's right now, has been all day. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the upper 30's, so I guess it's time to break out the beach ball and blanket! j/k

The snow started up here in Snohomish County at about 7:00 Friday morning. I was flabbergasted.
I was even more amazed to see it still on the ground 12 hours later. I'm just glad it isn't in the streets.
I'm sure Jesse knows about what happens to absolutely everything in Metro Seattle whenever there's a nontrivial snow accumulation on the roads for very long.

According to Weatherbug, it's supposed to get up into the mid-40's here in Milwaukee today. Par-tay time!
