"Making change a reality" is the most ludicrous bullshit weasel word phrase, since "Work smarter not harder" and "Think outside the box". Remember, Bush campaigned on change, and boy did he deliver. Hope and Change are meaningless outside a specific policy context.
We are in an election which is probably the most crucial in our history. What we need to do is win the fucking election by getting the majority of the electoral college votes, and making sure it doesn't get stolen again. As a result it is absolutely essential to not mince words. We have to fight everyday, to make sure that our positions are known and that the many failings of the opposition are equally well known. And frankly, we aren't doing it hard enough yet.

Absolutely, I am registered and I've been contacting all my family and friends to make sure they are registered and voting for Obama. I've also begun volunteering and will continue until election night. The voter registration numbers are encouraging in my part of FL. We just have to make sure that there is follow-thru with GOTV.
I'll be watching the convention and look forward to the GNB posts.

Thank you, 'gator. We're lucky to have you to help us focus. It is the focus that needs to be sharpened. There is one issue. THAT is to stop dead in its tracks the march of the repulicans. Every single last one of them. That can only happen with getting Obama elected. Every single other issue we have needs to start with this one.
