Language is important, and FDR has his "New Deal."
OBama should embrace the "Green Deal-- Green jobs, green technology, and green living for a greener tomorrow."

eco something?...nah, nothing with eco, I think people might not actually attribute much power to 'eco' these days as it's used so much...

You might appreciate Paul Hawken's 2007 book Blessed Unrest. He claims (convincingly) that social justice and environmental justice are part and parcel of one another. And the Appendix has a gazillion references for those who are looking for a place to participate.
