Exactly. Everything is going according to plan as far as Junior is concerned: Just stall things long enough to drop the entire horrific mess into the lap of the next Administration, then thumb his nose at them and jeer, "So long, suckers!" while scuttling away like a fucking cockroach.

It couldn't be more transparent. And it's for this reason (as I've said before) that I don't think Bush is going to attempt a Pinochet style coup and declare himself Dictator For Life. Proof positive that there's a silver lining of sorts in almost any situation!
