If Bush, Petraeus, and the Republican Congress love the Iraq War so much then they should pay for it.
Democrats need to include the "Bush Petraeus Iraq War Tax" as part of the defense supplemental spending bill.
Congress passes defense supplemental spending bills without paying for them. The bills are passed outside of the federal budget so there is no revenue paying for them. They are being added to the deficit and every five-year-old child will spend their entire adult life paying for it.
The Bush Petraeus Iraq War needs to be paid for today not passed on to future generations.
If Republican members of Congress don't support the "Bush Petraeus Iraq War Tax" it proves that they don't support our troops.

These days, generals like von Paulaeus, what with their seven or eight rows of ribbons, kinda look like the old Soviet marshals of yesteryear. Not a good sign................ especially as his actual combat record is rather paltry, shall we say.

Of course we all know Powell's success story, but are there a gazillion white generals just saying yes-sir to the lies for every two brave career-suiciders like Taguba and Shinseki?

At the very least it should come straight out of every one of Bush's pet projects, assuming Congress is still willing to fund them at all. *All* of the Faith-based Initiative money should go to Iraq, for starters.
