Another Bushco "spoils system" incompetent.
We'll still be finding these human landmines 30 years after W dies of cirrhosis in a hospital ICU.

...30 years after W dies of cirrhosis in a hospital ICU. - Stormcrow
A "hospital ICU"?!?! What a generous heart you have Stormie. I would wish for something more along the lines of a Crawford, Texas runoff ditch or back country gully.

How much you want to bet at least some of this recalled beef actually ends up in institutional food? You know, jails, prisons, and mental hospitals, places like that.
Or in a convenience store burrito.

these last 2 years of W are going to be even more about paying back loyalists by letting them pillage the last remains of the public works/ services departments. Keep you eye on all the cabinet folks and I am sure this will be par for the course.

Here's a link to the story mentioned in the Rosali's comment:

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Agriculture Department abruptly ordered congressional auditors to leave its Washington offices this week and told employees not to cooperate with them.
"You are hereby instructed not to meet with any member of the (Government Accountability Office) today, or until this matter is resolved," Michael Watts, head of the department's office of adjudication, wrote to employees Wednesday in an e-mail obtained by The Associated Press.

gbear, Thank you for providing the link.
"The GAO auditors were seeking information for an ongoing review of Agriculture's civil rights office, including whether the department had provided false information about the office's progress in handling discrimination complaints."

My mind is tired from these almost daily outrages. I can only process so much.
It's what companies call "taking a bath" - we are in the red ink anyway, lets dump all questionable business practices now anyway.
