“We Distort. You Deride.”

If only more people really did deride Fox News........ and help drive them from the airwaves. As it is, far to many numbskulls sit drooling before their big screens TV's absorbing this utter guff.

Gravatar BITCHIN' good rip, LM. :o)

If Keith Olberman doesn't grab this and run like Man-0-War, he aint wurf shit.

:o)

Those fucking peckerheads.

P.S. Guess which magazine, as a kid, melanin-challenged moi used to sneak and read at the barber shop? :o)

Hey! It was more INTERESTING than "Field and Stream". :o)

Gravatar It was a "librul" barbershop, in Chapel Hill.

Speaking of which, go TAR heels. :o)

Gravatar Well, come on. Be fair.

It was an innocent enough mistake, right? I mean, other than their skin tone, Frederick Douglass and Stephen Douglas were pretty much indistinguishable, right?

It's not as if one of them was a virulent, determined slavery supporter while the other was a former slave and abolitionist or anything.

What's that you say...?

Gravatar This was no mistake- think of how this plays to the Base:

"You'd rather vote for Lincoln than a black man (ie. Obama)."

The Southern Strategy lives on.

Gravatar I liked the episode where Ethel baked the atomic secrets in a pie and served it to J. Edgar Hoover when he unexpectedly dropped by for dinner. WAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Gravatar bjacques:

That is the best laugh I've had in days! I nearly gagged on my pill water!

Gravatar there ain't enough vicodin in the bleedin' world to cover the pain of the stupid.

the stupid! it burnz!

Gravatar I've never watched Fox, but now I am beginning to think I have been missing out all this time on the great fractured features they scroll out.
And isn't that wonderful clown, the hip hop guy, Karl Rove, also a Fox fixture now? I guess he'll fill out the left half of the Rove v. Wade visual when they get to that one.
Although all alone by his ol' self he looks kind of frightfully goofy. Alone, and with the scroll under him
" ...the banality of evil.." I can imagine the frame, just before the cut to a McCain campaign ad. Speaking of banality.

Gravatar This is the perfect distillation of the collective ignorance of Fox News/News Corp/Rupert Murdoch.

But ya gotta admit it's pretty elitist to know basic historical facts.

Gravatar Wengler, you are SUCH a snob.

Shame on you for knowing the difference between Frederick and Stephen. :o)

Hey! Maybe this is why Hillary likes Rupert so much.

He's not a know-it-all. :o)

Gravatar What about the episode where Lucy and Ethel are spying at a bomb factory, and try to smuggle out as many spare parts as they can by snatching them off a conveyer belt and stuffing them in their mouths? Naturally, they're caught:

Lucy:" But I don't wanna be executed!! WAAAAAAA!"

Ricky: "Hokay, Loosey, if we don' execute yoo, do yoo promise no more kooky schemes?"

Gravatar What do I think, Fox? Thanks for asking. I think that there's no better news network for ignorant morons than one that's run by ignorant morons.

Gravatar In the grand scheme of things, maybe some stupid ass mistakes cancel each other. I heard J.J. Johnson described as being a great bassist.

Gravatar Uh - best be careful 'bout droppin' the Dread Lord's name around like that LoLo. You might get a visit...

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wagn'nagl fhtagn.

====

It was a pumpkin pie, right?

Will Faux cover that when they do a series on Horatio Alger?

As to bin Ladin: what goes on? I thought there was one Axis of Evil. Now you're telling me there are FOUR axes? Putting some spin on that story, are you?

Gravatar The REAL story here is that Lincoln isn't wearing a flag pin!

This would never have happened if they hadn't taken prayer out of the public schools!

Thinkng is unpatriotic!

If you keep fixating on trivial things like reality, that must mean that you want the terrorists to win!

FOX NEWS:
"Oh hell, we admit it - we keep gettting even simple stuff wrong because we're dumb as a box of hair."

Gravatar Fox deserves what they get, but they're not alone: the same mistake was made in a Daily Kos diary a couple of weeks ago.

Gravatar "Fox deserves what they get, but they're not alone: the same mistake was made in a Daily Kos diary a couple of weeks ago."

When a Daily Kos diary is given the same respect that Fox does from all politicians, advertisers and other MSM corps, I'll worry about it.

Also, the difference between Fox and a Kos Diary is that within 5 minutes of posting the diarist was likely pummeled in the comments and (I hope) corrected his error. That's just not happening at Fox.

Gravatar There are times that I seriously wonder if Fox news is just a very deep satire, liek westbrough baptist church or some such.

common fox/faux doubble entandra, the weekly world news levle of fact checking, story macking upping....they ahve to be in on the joke right...this of like colbare on steroids, right...it must be no one can be this dumb.

Gravatar The crazy thing was that Frederick Douglass played to the Republican base in that debate by coming out IN FAVOR of slavery.

(That joke was funnier in my head.)
