He added, “You know, I’m an English literature major as well.
And Ann Coulter is a Constitutional lawyer, and Jonah Doughy Pantload Goldberg is a historian, and Dubya is a Compassionate Conservative, and...
I guess It’s not what you have; it’s how you sell it. And admit it, the Gooper’s base is filled with people who’d look if you said “Hey! There’s Elvis!” Goopers have screwed up things so bad with what they’ve said and done, their base will believe anything at this point.
I was reading comments at some Gooper butt-kissing site that posted Huckabee’s Elmer Fudd hunting pictures. I found out Huckabee is the real deal; he’s a true sportsman because he kept hunting after the photo op was over. No, wait! Only Willard can save us because he’s a CEO and will run this country like a business. Man, I started banging my head on my desk because, yes! it felt sooo good when I stopped. Later, I’m going to drink heavily to kill some more brain cells after reading that crap.
It never should have got this far, except the media keeps giving the Goopers’ a free pass on 99 percent of the crap they spew. And sometime around January 2005, I lost my patience explaining this to their lizard-brained followers.
As usual, great essay LM. I love your writing style. Keep ‘em coming.

Great post as always LM!
A baseball post to start and ending with a literary Grand Slam bomb on the Romney campaign.
To mix metaphors sir, I believe you have just given Willard...er Mitt a vasectomy with a chain saw.

keep remembering dude. never forget where you are. words to live by for sure. i just got back from the rez and am still decompressing back into society out here with the bellaangaana (apache for "white eyes" don't fret it's only semi-perjorative) just the drive from the rez, through phoenix back into california was all it took for me to remember that i am one of "them" living out amongst 'em.
it's cool though. i got skills.

"Mitt" - "Baseball" - quite fitting juxtaposition of words/images 'cause our boy is sho' nuff looking Berra-like catchin' high heat & hellfire behind the political plate for his mendacity, and spewing Yogi style nonsense in explanation of his prevarication.
(OOOooo - alliteration!!! Me writee - me likee.)
P.S. - I though briefly about apologizing for insulting HOFer Yogi Berra in this manner - but then again, he's a Yankee, so Fuck Him & Romney too!!!

"The record on Mitt's having been present to see his father Rockette-kicking alongside King and Abernathy and Rustin is even more clear-cut. He lied through his Chiclet™-perfect teeth."
Ahh.
That's the shit.
Ahhhh.

Live, on pay-per-view:
LOWER MANHATTANITE vs. MITT "THE MORMON" ROMNEY!!
I'd pay good money to see the predictable result.
As the kids say these days (I think),

LM, yes another one hit out of the park.
Next you will be hearing the Mittster say something like "If I was born earlier, I would have been marching with Dr. King in Selma or Washington in Trenton". Some campaign flack will then say its the sentiment that counts, not the action.

Athenae sent me over here. Nice piece.
I too marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, but it was after we time traveled to earth back in the 1960s. There aren't any photos of me with him because we had to remove any records of our being here so we didn't accidentally change the past. But I was there!
/Almost as credible as Willard Mitt!
I'll keep calling him Willard Mitt as long as they keep using Barak Hussein

Great stuff.
I don't get to too many sermons with singers but I have seen the same name-check Jesus phenomenon at church bake sales to explain away dry flavorless cookies baked in the name of the Lord. They still sell almost as well as the good stuff.
People claim to have seen Wilt score his 100 in Philly as well which is pure BS because he did in in Hershey, PA, not Philly and only just over 4000 fans were at the game.
Thanks A for linking to this piece and thanks for Group News Blog!
