It's actually convinced me somehow to start using RSS for most of my blog reading, a knack I'd never picked up. I really like the media stream feature. If they'd just implement a universal, in-window im client, I'd be thoroughly satisfied.

I think I'll wait and see on this one.
It may be a while. That homepage sets my teeth on edge. "If Fashion Is Your Thing? – Flock’s New Gloss Edition Is The Browser For You"
Yeah, right.
I don't give two flips about "fashion" when I'm choosing a browser. Do they perform proactive audits of their source code trees? What's their turnaround time for serious security issues? Do they hammer their product with fuzzers? If not, why not?
Many, if not most, of the attacks put in by professional cybercrooks these days are put in through the victim's web client software.
Honeynet Project, 9 August, 2007. Know Your Enemy : Malicious Web Servers. If you haven't yet read this, please do so. It'll give you far more than just the lay of the land.
I've been watching the trend for the last five years, and it's gotten so bloody bad I'm thinking of abandoning Windows for web surfing entirely.
The very last thing I want to hear about some new browser is how "fashionable" it is. Getting your computer raped by some extortionist hailing from Petropavlovsk is "fashionable", too. Screw that.

Firefox works fine for me, but, cyber-challanged as I am, I maintain 3 (count 'em) browsers, IE for the NY Times, Firefox for Wolcott, and Opera for the GNB. Seems I'm on Opera mosta the time. The blogrolls cover most of what I am innerested in. Thanx folx.

I love Flock if I have nothing else to do. I find that once I've checked Facebook and Twitter and Flickr and all the other umpteen million plug-ins, I've been online for 3 hours and haven't read or written a single damn thing.
I'm a total browser whore too. Currently I have six, count
'em, six (IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Flock, Orca)on my laptop and I'm liable to use any of them at anytime.

Safari? On Windows?
Not one of Apple's best moments. No.
I'll stick to Firefox and Opera, thanks. With IE held in reserve for assholes who have run up sites I have no choice but to visit, who have rigged them so they won't render in FF or Opera.
I don't like to play with explosives, either.
