The Iraki contingent are going on semi-hiatus for a few weeks - they are all feeling pretty shattered since the brother of one of them was killed, and also getting fuel for the generators is getting difficult. They'll keep posting just that it will be a lot lighter than normal.

ceabaird I read steves stuff from his beginning online...steve would have whole sale cut and pasted the articla...we would have been lucky to get any comments...he tended to eb lazy that way.
I remember markfromireland, the commenter at Steve's blog referring to this site. From the first time he mentioned it, I've been reading and passing on the link where I can. The trouble happens when you meet someone who insists, from the comfort of their desk, that it 'isn't as bad as all that'. That was the first time I said the f**k word in front of my colleagues. Do they think people make these things up???

Good to see Erdla from the team in comment above - the GorillasGuides team is incredibly generous with their knowledge and work.
I looked extensively for copyright notices before doing what I did.
Then I wrote what I was doing up front, and was prepared to take it down if the copyright holder objected.
I also weighed carefully everything from the opportunity to teach progressives -- whom hopefully might possibly be reached by this material -- against the damage to the copyright holder, against the legal rights to make even multiple full copies of entire chapters of books for classrooms (which in effect, was what the analogy is here.)
I spent perhaps sixty minutes with the decision. It was anything but casual.
