I did my tour when my country needed me.

Rush Limbaugh didn't. In fact, he avoided Vietnam service. Now last week, Rush dares call American service members who support an end to the war in Iraq "phony soldiers."

Limbaugh's show airs on Armed Forces Radio, funded by taxpayers' dollars. This isn't a place for radio hosts to insult troops doing nothing more than exercising their right to free speech.

Limbaugh lacks the courage to say those insults to an Iraq war veteran's face -- he keeps turning down requests from people such as VoteVets.org's Jon Soltz to come his show.

You're my member of Congress. Limbaugh is using government funds to disrespect and censor the voices of soldiers on on military airwaves. I want you to put a stop to it.

Please Dump Rush From Armed Forces Radio. He's avoided wearing a military uniform his whole life, yet dares question the sincerity of "phony" troops in a combat zone, and uses government airwaves to pump his vitriol and hatred into the ears of military troops around the world. He's got to go.

Yeah, as a serving vet, Rush offends me, in general, but his calling me phony, and then lying about it.
