New to your blog and also directed here from HH. I pray that if I start to piss you off that you sit me down and straighten me out. I definately don't want to be on your short list. |

One has to wonder what a "Dynomutt" is now. |

I was "Blue Falconed" by a CSM who thought his @#$% didn't stink, but now he has been kicked out of the military for being a P.O.S. |

I don't see the evidence that Kerry was a BF. Yes, he decided that the war was immoral and he decided to get out of it as soon as possible. But I don't see any evidence that he screwed over his fellow soldiers or was only interested in his own advancement. To stand up publically and to go to Congress and say what he said takes a lot of courage. I don't doubt that Kerry saw the military as a springboard into politics. But none of the testimony from the people that he served with shows me that he didn't serve honorably and bravely. Here is the more important thing in my mind. Kerry indicated that he was always interested in eventually going into politics. By publically coming out against the war and accusing his fellow soldiers of committing human rights abuses--especially in congress, Kerry probably thought at the time that he was killing any chance at a political carreer or at least his military service was not going to help him. He also probably thought that he was helping his fellow soldiers by getting them out of a war which was getting them killed. I have watched some of Kerry's testimony in front of congress and read some of the accounts of his fellow soldiers who talked about him. None of them said that he was a BF. Today we know that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth was an operation which worked in coordination with Karl Rove, who has a history of smearing honorable veterans. Look what he did to Max Cleland and John McCain. |

Damn, that was good, Froggy. |

Very well said. Gave more than my wife knows about to the Swifty's, I ain't no hero, went to the Vietmam Veterans against John (served in Vietmam) Kerry demonstration in DC the September before the election. I figured my three hundred sumthin sumthin pound frame would fill the crowd a little. I was proud of the people I met there. |

Probably because you haven't bothered to read any actual source material, Amos. Why don't you break down and read "Unfit for Command" instead of quoting Joe Conason, David Corn and the rest of the smear gang. It's a short little book and I'm sure you could power your way through it. |

Outstanding! And REALLY well written. I have not been here before, but I will be back, and often. |

John Kerry Murtha. Two assholes from the same mold. |

It has been hinted in certain quarters that Kerry's leaving Vietnam was encouraged by his fellow Swifties. The action reports depict someone who was reckless, a showboat, marginally competent at best. (Though to give the devil his due, not a physical coward.) Who'd want someone like that on his flank? Or as a unit commander? |

Very enjoyable read. |

If I hadn't known that the military had its share of ass crackers before, I did after reading John Ringo. John Ringo is pretty good at filling in the "not so perfect military" with the goon squads. |
