This is so wierd. Just this morning I was fishing with my young boys in a skiff just south of the amphib base on the strand. This afternoon I check your site for the first time in months and whammo, update.
The strangest part is that we actually caught fish.

I've checked your site every day pretty much since you started blogging. Obviously I enjoy your writing, and appreciate your perspective. Your experiences have authored your perspective, particularly with regard to issues of defense, the military, and terrorism. That's why your blog is so good. You've "been there, done that". But, you are a Christian, husband, and dad. Do those first and best. We'll enjoy your writing more if we know it isn't at the expense of your family.

Just popped back to see, if by some chance the frogosphere was back up, and lo and behold, it is! I'm stoked- blackfive is great, but it doesn't quite have the community feel of the old frogosphere! Thanks Scott! I tried to keep up a blog, after a couple of entries, my wife started calling the laptop my "mistress". That was the end of that... Whatever you can do is great.
