What I hated was her condescending tone. The whole article dripped with it. Whatever businesses her family must surely have, I'm sure they benefit from OFW remittances giving Filipino consumers the purchasing power. Ipokrita kasi sya. Obviously, ignorante rin.

Hi Sparks, the Malu's article would have been acceptable had she not injected some statements. They were really uncalled for. Things like slashing and private hell should not have made the print. There lies the whole problem. She did not have to say those things.

What is worst is her pathetic attempt to justify and not rectify her statements. A person should have compassion, that is why we are human beings. We all have feelings not just senses. We can be upfront without being demeaning nor revoltingly insulting. I like how you put things in perspective. Thank you for writing it so well.
