I for one think it's about time we had a little more patriotism in this country. If this is the "scary" Stephen Harper the Liberals warned us about, bring it on!

Yes... we need a PM who will scare the living daylights out of the enemies of freedom, democracy and the rule of law.
Previously we've just had a bunch of old Tinky Winky dudes in suits and ties, running, skipping, spinning and just plain dithering... what a sorry spectacle the left made of itself right in front of Canadians and the world!
Glad the iron-fisted reign of the gawdawful "Liberals" is finally over!
Let's roll!

"If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything".
If we are clear on our values, then threats to our values will be more obvious and will have less chance to take root.
Our values in Afghanistan include doing what is necessary to remove a threat to the freedom of citizens of that country. Funny thing: gun-control advocates tell us to call the police instead of defending ourselves. So, in Afghanistan Canadian soldiers are like the cops, and what do we get from the Left? "Leave them to defend themselves."

Thank you for posting this! It is so encouraging to see this from a Canadian PM. "Morning again" indeed. I hope this is the beginning of a new resurgent Canadian strength. The West will only be stronger with Canada at its side and its weapons at the ready. The West must be united in this fight. We have so much in common and too much to lose if we are not in it together. May patriots and free men fight together for the protection of our homelands and the freedom of others.

I, too, hope this is the start of a new era for Canada and the Free World.
It's a critical juncture... a crossroads. It's... Chamberlain or Churchill. It's stay and fight or scurry away and be shot in the back. It's about believing in freedom, democracy and the rule of law and understanding that they are gifts so fragile they can be shattered by their enemies should they be unguarded.
I will also fight at home against any resurgence of the dangerous forces of leftism, which are responsible for many of the ills of the world today, both within the Free World and without. If the left wins again, that could prove a very devastating setback, for I saw and felt personally the deleterious effects of the socialist surge in the Nineties worldwide.
The ultra-leftist-in-agenda CBC last night ran a disgusting piece in which they singled out morons on the street who have been brainwashed by the CBC and the rest of the left into not understanding the reality of the world. One girl claimed this isn't a "Canadian war". She's been indoctrinated, eyes unfocussed... like other leftists, doesn't realize that all wars to fight for our real values, for the gifts of freedom, democracy and the rule of law, be it for ourselves or others, are Canadian wars! They're wars of humanity against the enemies of humanity!
I will speak the truth and will not be deterred by the brainwashed leftist masses. They, too, should have their freedom to think for themselves restored!
I hate to say this, but the left has forgotten. This is sad and dangerous. Which is why those who remember must forge ahead despite the brainless screechery of the unknowing leftists against that which is right and just.
We were elected on a clear mandate and will not be deterred, minority or majority situation notwithstanding. The left, after all, always ruled as if it was a dictatorship, so ignore their complaints and look to the common sense of the common people who remember and think properly.
Let's roll!

Our PM, Mr Harper decided to visit our troops in Afghanistan. This visits is the first visits out of the country by our PM and whatever is your political views, we have to admit that this kind of strong message is very important for our troops in theatre. I'm very happy with this gesture by our PM because the message he give's is the following: I support your sacrifice, I believe in your mission and all the canadian population is behind your effort. Excellent Mr. Harper. this kind of effort is well appreciated by our troops and the population that believ in what they're doing!
